I am a self-proclaimed map geek and accomplished data analyst with over 10 years experience creating, analyzing and publishing geographic data. 

My Story

Hidy Ng is an award winning investigative research analyst at the Toronto Star, Canada’s largest circulated newspaper. Her diverse research has been an integral part to many Toronto Star articles, and she truly enjoys working on stories which have a positive impact on society. With a background in Urban Geography, Geographic Information Systems (GIS), and data journalism, she felt the pull to continue learning and completed her Masters in International Development Studies at York University.
